PC-Mac wireless problem

When I initially setup my network it was only being used by PCs. My sister brought her Macbook over, and the connection became very flaky. I'd have to reset th erouter every thirty minutes or so. This would happen every time she brought it over. It can't be a coincidence or isolated thing because I've had two other people come over with Macs and had the same problem.

Has anyone encountered this problem before?

Look for a firmware update for your router.

This.

It's unlikely that this issue is due to her computer being a Mac - more likely that she's doing *something* on it which is breaking the connection.

High volumes of traffic seems to be one of the more common reasons that SOHO routers flake out, so you may consider taking a look at what she's got running when she is over.

Like Fardringle mentioned, though, firmware updates normally solve issues like this.
