A TV tuner would be a simple answer. But I'm looking for something more too. What I'd really like is an adaptor that would take component in and get DVI out. (specifically in anticipation of the Wii) Is there an easy way of doing this? Or should I stick with an S-Video to DVI/Analog converter?
So it turns out that there are two types of DVI ports - ones that support analog (DVI-I) and ones that dont (DVI-D). Which means that I'm probably going to want to just go with component to D-Sub (15-pin analog)
I use the zenith hdtv external tuner as my 2nd hdtv source for my dell 2405fpw display which comes with a set of component cables in which I use to connect between the tuner to my 2405.
The 2405 which only comes with one dvi input as I suppose most lcd monitors today too do but you can find a dvi switcher to go between your pc and the tuner.
