PC keeps flashing into power save then back

Ive been working on this PC for about 6 months now, and all of a sudden its started going into power save mode for intervals of 1-2 seconds then flashing back. Ive got a corsair 1000psu powering all my parts (which is more than enough) And a GTX 285.

Is it the video card, or PSU?
 
First thing to do is try reinstalling the video drivers. Next see if the same problem occures with a diffrent monitor and monitor cable. If the problem persists then there may be an issue with your card.
