PC Inventory/Repair Tracking

I've been trying to create an Access database for tracking PC inventoy and repairs, but don't know Access at all. Has anyone out there designed a database that they would be willing to share with a fellow Anandtecher? I'm not looking for anything pretty or special, just something that I can use to query what equipment is in a room/building and a way to check for repeated service.

Not sure if this is it, but we use a program by Blue Ocean software at my office called TrackIT. I inventory all our PCs on it, track helpdesk requests etc... you might want to give it a look. It is networkable too.

I've looked at Track-It, but we are a school district and have little money to spend on the technology let alone tracking what we have. I've tried to find a student that can make an Access database, but can't seem to find one interested.
