Hi everyone, Im running an IIS smtp server on my PC, and there's a darn MASS MAILER virus in my PC now. I know so coz the symantec shows some error message abt not being able to send out mails (outgoing virus scan) coz connection with the local smtp server had a problem.

Anyway, i tried scanning with NAV (latest definitions), even got PC-Cilling.

I can't find the virus!

Anyone can recommend any spyware/virus scanner that can remove it 100%, as well as any other possible spy/virus lurking in my PC?

PC-Cillin and NAV doesnt seem to work for me...

Thanks!

Norton will sometimes interrupt outgoing mail if they are encrypted, just because it can't scan through the encryption. Do you use SSL?

Download the free trial of Kaspersky and see if it can fix you up🙂

Seriously, there are TONS of viruses that norton can't detect but kaspersky can.

List some.

Fanboyism dealt serious PWNage.

This ass bag wants me to reinstall norton, update it and then take a fscking screen cap comparing the virus databases of the two:roll: Admit it bsobel, you're a fscking troll. You believe that all that is crappy is actually great and you're determined when ever I recommend some one something else to prove me wrong, I really have no idea why. What are you saying, that norton's antivirus is just as good as kaspersky? Is that what you're saying?

I've got first hand experience of norton not only detecting a virus but getting disabled by it. I used to be an avid norton antivirus fan until I saw a virus take over my system. I had to MANUALLY remove the virus because I had no idea what virus it was, I found out about kaspersky and was able to remove the rest. Ever since I've had kaspersky installed (Since 2004) I haven't had this happen to me again.. You're a worthless ass bag who clearly doesn't know what he is talking about, you ask for "proof" and you have no TRUE reason for asking it except to be a douche and force me to make lengthy posts like this. Only to make another post with a simple comment just to piss me off again.

Do you really believe that I blindly hate things simply because of what others have said? I feel as though this is what you believe, well to be perfectly honest, I don't think I've ever hated something simply because some one did as well. I hate something because it irritates me, like not living up to it's expectations, causing more head ache then helping, waste of money like being more expensive than other products with similar features.

my SMTP apparently wasnt secure, and allowed anyone to ues it as a relay, some guy scanned my port and started spamming my smtp with mail...
