PC Hangs on startup

This just started happening recently. It started when I was installing the software that came with my Logitech Keyboard and mouse, after I installed the software for it I had to reboot and it would freeze on 'Windows is starting up.' I fixed the problem by booting off the Win2k disc and repairing the drive, but I've had to do it 2 times in the last day, and both times I believe it had to do with installation/uninstallation of the Logitech software. I'm pretty sure that's the cause of it, but my question is, is there anyway to find out if that really is the cause, and how can I stop it from happening again.
