Hi everyone.I m using the onboard gpu(nv 6100) on a gigabyte GA-k8n51gmf 9. PC rebooted itself last night, and at right after the "windows is starting" screen would throw up a distorted picture and hang.Booted into safe mode to remove the nvidia drivers and was able to get into the normal windows. But, now whenever i try to install any drivers from nvidia com would throw up a screen of garbage and hang.specs: athlon 64 3000, 1g ram. win xp pro sp2Would be great if i could get some suggestions as to how i can fix this.

Welcome to the Forums!!

First I would reset the CMOS on the MB.

Second I would run MemTest to verify the memory.
