When I am watching videos, suddenly a message popped out from my screen "input signal not supported", the audio continues, but there's nothing I can do to bring to screen back, so i reset. I watch the movie again, and after a few minutes, again the same thing occur, "input signal not supported". Then i reset the computer again, this time the PC hanged when i watch the same video.
So i decided to uninstall all nvidia drivers, chipset +igp. Also, instead of using WMP 11, I use smplayer with gl2 output. The computer has yet to hang after that.
I really do not know whether its a hardware or software problem, although it looks like a software problem, i couldn't find any errors in Windows log, or blue screen.
And I've been using the nvidia drivers for a quite some time without problem....
AMD X2 3800+ 65W
nvidia 405 with 6100 igp
2 GB RAM
Windows Vista 32-bit
Seagate 80gb HDD
Do u guys encountered problem like this before? Thanks for your help
