PC gaming takes forever to load.

Works ok for me shortsky. I'm on Chrome. Is there a specific ad or something causing it to hang for you?

OK, with Adblock disabled the PC Gaming forum loads SLIGHTLY faster, but still slowly.
 
It's all the damned ad and tag services that are now being used, esp. the ones from google tag/ad services. At least that's what usually shows as the "connecting to" that won't and slows the page loading.
 
Odd - doesn't seem to be any problem from my end.
Could you provide as many details as possible about what you are experiencing?

sounds like you've got something going into timeout. good luck finding out what it is; a reinstall of *everything* wouldn't be the worst option.
 
Shortylickens, I've looked into this, and unfortunately I'm not able to replicate the issue. I don't doubt you're having it and I'd like to get it fixed for you, but for the moment I'm coming up empty handed.
 
We have made a few database modifications, can you try again after clearing your cache or running in a private (incognito) window?
