*sigh* Oh, just have some leisure time, while we rescue everybody, crotchety old man.
And no, it's not just being JPEG: MSAA is simply not cutting it with such an ancient engine, and I have had no success forcing SSAA (using NVIDIA Inspector, FI, AA gets disabled, trying SSAA options).

Bah! Who needs Crysis? :D

Borjoyzee lol.

Thats the mission where you have to kill the 3 sonaks? and rescue reg I think. That game was tons of fun, even online.

Haha. I remember that game brought my overclocked-to-Ti500-speeds GeForce3 Ti200 to it's KNEES and made it cry like a bitch at high resolutions. Damn it was fun, though.

I'd read good stuff about it way back, but never saw in stores, forgot about it, and then picked it up from GoG a few months back (worst part about GoG: I still have my original copies of so many games they have :)).

@Maximillion: yes, that's the mission (or at least that's the map, and it's at most one mission past that one). I got a shot in the first mission where he started reading the Diary of Samuel Pepys (actual book, BTW), as it made me LOL, but the book cover was all fuzzy (I needed to raise AA quite a bit, and put AF down to 4x), so I took a few more the next time I got a chance.

Because they want landmarks that people know. It's the same reason these movies/games always feature short shots of The Big Ben, Sydney Opera House, and the Eiffel Tower ruined, somewhere in between the carnage happening in New York.

BTW, for anybody playing Metro2033... equip your revolver, fire off 6 rounds (if you can spare them) don't reload, and look carefully at the visible cartridge. Little details like that is what make Metro2033 awesome.

Also, if you needed a reason why games should have editors. This is why.

This thread could use more high-quality Eyefinity-caliber screenshots and fewer console-level screenshots. :)
