Linup for 2007 looks good, but has been pretty crappy so far. I loved Stalker and been playing Armed Assault Co-op, and that's it. Nothing else has really caught my interest yet. Maybe I'll pick up GRAW 2 since the first one was good. Looks like the 'cream' will come out during Fall, but school starts then and I'll have... oh wait, I'll have more time thanks to a crappy 8 hour job.

Lost Planet [DX10] looks GREAT and is a very good game!

CoJ [DX10] is a decent Western

Overlord is a total Hoot and looks AND plays awesome

Stalker is the best RPG in years

Shivering Isles was an awesome Oblivion expansion longer than many full games

and that is ... so far ... it's still July

HL's Ch2 is out shortly, ET, Bioshock and Crysis ...

might be the best year for PC gaming ... in quite a few years

All those games sans Crysis are being released on consoles. You can argue PC>console all you want;I agree with you, but it leaves one wanting a unique experience.

Hellgate: London and Bioshock ... especially Bioshock for me

Yeah, I don't play PC games much, but I just beat S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and next I'm looking foward to Crysis and possibly Bioshock. Those three games should keep me happy for the rest of this year.

and you pay $10 less for every PC game compared to it's console counterparts ... if you play 20 console games this year you will pay at least an EXTRA $200 over it's PC gaming's comparable games

5 years ... that $400-$500 console costs you an EXTRA $1,000 in games [5x20 games a year]

that may be true but my PC costs me $3000+ every 5 years with upgrading. You don't have that cost with consoles.

I try to go "new every two" years and it'll usually run me around $1,000. Next year, I might only need to replace my video card(maybe) as it looks like my AMD X2 is going to be plenty for gaming.
