I have been looking on and off for months for a PC gaming headset. It MUST have these features.

1. Wireless
2. Built for gaming/music
3. BLUETOOTH so I can answer phone calls in game and listen to music from my phone when not in game

I have read and read and read and still have not found anything solid. Looking forward to a reply from ANYONE!

$300 price range

Gaming and Bluetooth are mutually exclusive. The lag makes it a non-starter.

Well, I had a pair of Turtle Beach XP500's but they only work with 360 and PS3. I ditched my consoles in favor of a gaming rig. Anyway, those met all my requirements. I just think it's silly no one makes a PC gaming headset with the features I need.

Are there any WIRED headsets that have Bluetooth capability? Should I just face the facts that Bluetooth and PC gaming headsets do not mix?

They just don't make "gaming" bluetooth headsets as far as I can tell. Maybe too much interference? Even going to NewEgg and looking at headsets, filter by BlueTooth gives some awful looking choices.

I am sure you can get a great set of BlueTooth headphones and a cheap usb mic that should suit you. Especially in that price range.

I don't understand why you'd want a wired headphone with Bluetooth - you know what Bluetooth is, right?

Or if you're asking whether there's a phone around which accepts both a Bluetooth connection (for phones) and cabled (for PC's) - well, I have no idea whether it would work as you want, but the e.g. Nokia Purity Pro has both a 3.5mm connector and Bluetooth.

The problem for gaming is that Bluetooth - any Bluetooth headset - has too much lag to be useful, so I guess you could do it the other way, i.e. pair the phone with Bluetooth and connect the wired link to the PC using a TRRS -> Mic/Line converter.

Get something like an Astro A50 wireless. It's not Bluetooth, but it's wireless. And make your phone louder so you can hear them ringing through the headset.

Well there's one way you could enjoy the best of both worlds. Get a nice gaming headset such as the Astro A50 wireless and setup a Google Talk account so that it can take calls from your cell phone.

A little off topic but, is there a way to answer your android cell phone through your pc so you can take calls while gaming? It would be great if I could take a call and hear the person through my gaming headset while playing a game.

My first post states that I want a WIRELESS gaming headset with Bluetooth like my XP500's had but for PC, not consoles.

Yes, I know what Bluetooth is, lol. My bottom line is answering calls while gaming. If I had to settle for wired then I would settle. However, NSAFREAK gave a great idea!
