PC Gaming Gets a Shot in the Arm

Intel, AMD, Microsoft, nVidia and Dell have all joined forces to inaugurate a new campaign to save the declining PC gaming market. The PCGA was formed to readily share information regarding software, hardware and marketing strategies. All in an effort to save the declining PC gaming industry. With each year PC gaming becomes less important to gamers, with the rise of High Definition consoles like the PlayStation 3 and XBOX 360 and innovative gaming from the likes of the Nintendo Wii. Consoles currently carry about 10x more of retail sales. With the help of the PC Gaming alliance, the hope, is to change that statistic dramatically.

Good news for the PC Gamer! Maybe this will encourage faster development and better games.
