PC games which do not support Dual Core CPU's?

So i have a pretty modest PC consisting of Intel Pentium Sandy Bridge dual core CPU. I was going to purchase Far Cry 4 but thankfully did a little research beforehand and found out the game does not even launch on dual core CPU's and i don't think Ubisoft has issued any patch which resolves this issue either so i will have to sadly sit this one out as i really enjoyed Far Cry 3 and it ran butter smooth .I don't understand what is so special about Far Cry 4 that it should not run on dual core PC.
So does anyone know any more games from 2014 and 2015 that does not work on dual core CPU's? This is so people don't buy those games unknowingly only to find the game will not work on their dual core PC. Thanks.
My full specs
Pentium G630 dual core
8 gb ram
AMD 7750
Windows 7

It is due to sloppy porting from 8 core consoles that requires the game to start on core 3, which of course a dual core cpu without hyper-threading does not have, even though it might be quite capable of running the game. I believe there is a hack to make FC4 run on a dual core, but perhaps not an official patch. The only other game I am aware of that has this problem is Dragon Age Inquisition, but there could be a few others.

Just goes to show how much devs are interested in doing quality ports for the PC.

Edit: guess the previous poster covered this already. I didnt click his link before replying. I have read rumors that hack also works for DA:I, but I have no idea if they are true.

Yeah i know about the unofficial fix but i was just wondering when would AAA games drop support for dual core cpus? I see 2015 as last year in which big budget games still support Pentiums but beyond that it will probably only be i3,i5 and other quad cores. So i guess the days of building a cheap budget Pentium based gaming PC is over.
Already 2014 gave us Far Cry 4 and in 2015 games like GTA V, MGS V, Witcher 3 and probably a few more will also not work.I guess this is mostly because of the new gen consoles architecture but if it helps games become better then i guess its not such a big loss but yeah no more cheap Pentium gaming PCs is a tad bit disappointing.

Depends on how stupid software houses actually are,
if they decide that they don't want the business of about 50% of every PC out there
http://store.steampowered.com/hwsurvey/cpus/
then sure, what you say may happen, but somehow I seriously doubt it,if hackers can fix this problem in a couple of weeks then it can't be all that big of a problem.
Like frozentundra said, it's just sloppy porting/programming.

No it makes games worse because the games have to be restrained so they can run on these very slow cores.

And 100% of these PCs have crappy iGPUs or low end 5450 equivalents. So who cares, they won't be playing AAA anytime soon anyway. Time moves on and you need to upgrade.

No argument there, still a company must be completely stupid to reject 50% of an already shrinking market, without any real reason.
And if you look at the videos I posted you will see that it's no real restriction, there is no problem with running these games on two cores other than the companies not hiring any real programmers.

I wish more companies would start rejecting 90% of the market instead of making games for the lowest common denominator and making games for 50% instead, like Bioware.

Long live the indie scene!

Well, current consoles are the lowest common denominator right now and there is no company that is going to reject those.
