I can buy a bunch of PC games, just the disks, looks like. Is that all I'll need or is it tougher to get into them with just the disks?

BTW, where do people go to get PC games cheap? I'm not necessarily into just the new stuff - would like to check out the great older stuff. TIA.

If you've played more than one game in your life, then just the disks are enough. Most disks have manuals in PDF anyway. I've never looked at a manual for years, just goes on the shelf with the box.

Well, the only thing I would worry about are the rare games where the CD or setup key is printed somewhere on the manual. Didn't UT2K3 have it's CD key printed somewhere on the manual's back page?

Putting the CD or any key required for installation in or on the manual is just stupid, IMHO, and it's pretty rare. But it might be something worth checking into.

I think most EA games put the CD Key on the manual. I can take a look but Im 99.9% sure that C&C Generals + ZH and Renegade all had their CD keys on the manual.

Im not so sure if it is a dumb idea but I know where all my games manuals are so If i needed a key, I know where to look.

So, the great majority don't have the keys on the manual? They have them right on the CD?
