what's a good game for my girlfriend to play either online or a PC game?

I'm into BF2, but she doesn't get it.

Thief, Deus Ex, Vampire Bloodlines

Women want an immersive world with a detailed storyline and not an all out shoot 'em up.

Pleeeeeeeeeae, you're kidding right. Those are ok, give me a real game.

I started playing Thief, Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines, UT2k4 Invasion RPG, Thievery, (original UT mod) Arx Fatalis.

Women tend to like a more immersive story line. Which I prefer.

AnonymouseUser......:) ;)

Depends on what you mean exactly by polished. There are various patches you can install, fixing some of the bugs, it is a resource hog. The weapons, and battling the enemy can be a bit cumbersome. Other than that. It has a very immersive story line, I really enjoyed it. Have finished it three times now. Five different endings to it.

RPG Invasion is mainly shootem, with a twist of using relics, etc, etc, etc. Lots of whacky monsters. AnonymouseUser and I run a private server together. :) It's also the people that keep us coming back for more, and the game, we have lots of fun.

I don't personally know any girls that have a deeper interest in gaming past those types of games. No offense intended.

Oh none taken. I found it funny as well. :) Yes there are some women that are hard core gamers.

I had some issues with camera angles, and switching between views. Walking up stairs just didn't feel right. Its been a while though, maybe I should check out the patch. I liked the first Vampire game, so hopefully I'll get to finish this one.

chicks like games like Rollercoaster Tycoon. I would design the coasters and stuff and she'd figure out the color schemes for different areas of the park. this girl got mad though when it started raining and I raised the price of umbrellas to like $50 ;)

I dunno, I know they aren't PC games, but my ex and I used to play halo, and she loved metal slug.

Sims sucks, cannot stand the sims. It's like everyday life, I have enough of that in real life, thanks. :p

Are you in that PMS clan? They always go around Halo/CS bragging how they're girls and really super cool.
They bitched like MAD CRAZY when we beat them in Team Slayer omg they wouldn't STFU about like having host and weapon whoring, made me think games are better w/o females :D
