PC Gamers who have 360s

I'm a die-hard PC gamer who happens to have a 360 after getting it for almost 50% off about two years ago. Yes, it's collecting dust. I was wondering if there are any must-have 360 games out there that you would say live up to a very good PC game? I'm a keyboard+mouse for life type of person but if there's a game out there good enough to play with a controller let me have it and I'll give it a try.

Oh, and I can not wait for Dead Red Redemption to come out on the PC. I'm buying a new 1080p projector right before it's released so I'll be ready. I normally game on a 28" I-Inc but I want to feel like I'm in that game and have to do it BIG.

I really enjoyed Fable II and I typically prefer to play 3rd-person action games on consoles as opposed to PCs, even if they're multi-platform.

All the ones mentioned above & Forza 3... I am really loving this game! HALO is good too... Reach looks like it will be great. Alan Wake & soon Crackdown 2!

Bayonetta is not worth spending money on

Lies.

If you just have a PC, there are a lot of quality 360 titles worth buying.

That what I thought at first.....but now I'm drawing up a blank.

There is Darksiders, Condemned, and Dead Rising, but those are just decent/mediocre.

The most fun I've had on my 360 was from Banjo & Kazooie, Brutal Legend, Bayonetta. Bayonetta was the only excellent title on the list. The rest are just decent.

I'm really having a difficult time thinking of good 360 games that aren't available on the PC.

One of the best console-exclusive games for me. I had such a blast playing this game. It's way there on top of my list (and many other people's too), probably on the very first spot.

The other ones are good to great. Still offer a lot of fun.

PC/360 gamer here.

PC elitists would never admit it, but there are many games (and many types of games) that are better when you control them with a controller than a keyboard and mouse. Biggest example is racing games. There are some for PC, but not a huge selection. If you don't have a controller you can use on your PC, you're better off just getting racing games for your console. Forza 3 is good for realism. There are a lot of good semi-realistic racers like NFS: Shift, Project Gotham Racing 4, Grid, and Dirt too. And of course there are the crazy unrealistic ones like anything in the Burnout or Midnight Club series. Some of these are available for PC but some aren't.

There are also a lot of third-person action games, especially ones that don't involve precise aiming, that work better with a controller.

Another consideration is simply what your friends use. I tend to go for single player games on my PC and certain multiplayer games on my 360. I got Borderlands for the 360 even though it's an FPS because I have friends with 360s who also have it. Keyboard and mouse is better, obviously, but I'll give that up in exchange for cooperative multiplayer with friends.

Just use the 360 controller on your PC. Problem solved.

Ha, I'm actually the opposite. I only play single-player games on my 360, since I don't have it hooked up to internet (I refuse to buy the wireless adapter) and I don't want to pay for XBL.

I know im not alone in disliking the game, and im glad you enjoyed it, it seemed fun and all that but the over the top and blatant cheesiness + fan service ruined it for me i didn't finish the game and the thought of playing more of it just turns me off. IMO Darksiders & dantes were much better games

The 90 metacritic score disagrees with you.

By Dantes do you mean Devil May Cry?

If so:
>Complains about cheesiness and fanservice
>says DMC is better

You best be joking. DMC is the pinnacle of cheesiness and fanservice. Bayonetta is like a mini-DMC.

If you meant Dante's Inferno, then GTFO because that game was lame.

I hate DMC and Bayonetta. At the risk of sounding racist, they're just too damned Japanese. I just don't care for all that nonsense.

no i meant Inferno. also notice the IMO in front of my sentence. i know meta critic disagrees with me. but i know 4 other people IRL that also hated the game and felt the same way about it i did. I liked the first DMC, but thats about it, what thraxen posted might also apply to me

I think you just have bad tastes in games 😉

Bayonetta had good gameplay, but everything else about it was stupid. I hated the main character, and every other character for that matter. The story made no sense, and having over 9000 combos was a bit lame. I never got around to finishing it. I was on the last boss, I believe.
The stupid space battle after your "sister" dies

I would say Dead Rising is a must have (and cheap) for the 360. I can't really think of anything else that stands out so much I'd say buy it right now.
