I have yet to open it. I bought it sunday with the 20% off coupon along with Diablo 2 but I don't have time to open either one and fiddle with them.

I played the short Rune demo to the end in about 20 minutes and liked it. The multiplayer was only fair though. It's a gorgeous game. They show off the Unreal engine better than the Quake 3 and Lithtech engines IMO.

I can't WAIT till Tribes 2 comes out. That will be my passion for the next year or so.

It's originally $39.99 and Best Buy usually discounts games by a certain amount in the first weeks release to entice buyers to buy other stuff.

Hell, I got Diablo 2 for $20 and it's only been out a few months. Can't beat a great deal.

Daikatana is a different story though

I finally started playing this game and in my Voodoo2 SLI it's absolutely visually stunning! This is glide? 3dfx should of stuck with it if games could look like this! My Radeon can't compare to it in this game.

A must buy for every 3dfx owner!

Not trying to be rude, just giving a different perspective, I found Rune terminally boring! Jumping through cavern after cavern finding levers is not my idea of fun.

Theres nothing fundamentally wrong with the game, I just found it really really boring. Heretic 2 did this type of 3rd person thing better well over a year ago.
