What do you need? The FS/FT forums are pretty good for that. When you can get games such as Max Payne 2 and Farcry for $ 5 - $ 10 bucks shipped, HL2 for ~ $ 15/20 and FEAR and Q4 for like $ 25 - $ 35 (which were $ 49.99 retail only a month ago.) Why would you want to pay rental/shipping fees *and* have to give it back to someone after a few weeks? :)

is it true you can only install HL2 on one computer?

or to install it on a different computer, you have to go thru this process with steam?

True that you go through a "process" with steam on install, however, you can, in fact, install it on as many machines as you might care to.
Only caveat is that you can only play online from one computer at a time, logging in via your steam account.
You may, if you wish, play in offline mode on all ten computers on your home lan at the same time.

I also forgot about the CD-KEY only being able to be installed on 1 computer, at least for online play. So that probably wouldn't work.

Hey thanks. ;)

But seriously, CDC, for which games are you searching? Many of us have tons with which we would be willing to part to support our own habit :D...... You should look around, ....I just keep recycling mine. I've only bought like 2 games new in 4 years. The rest are just traded to purchase others......Name your genre and go search FS/FT. People will be happy to oblige.

Okay, I shall do that. I am mainly into first person shooters like Call of Duty, Allied Assault, Far Cry, Brothers in Arms, Half Life 2...I mentioned all those because those are the ones I have!
I am looking for comparable games, but not necessarily the same WWII genre(?) I don't really know exactly what specific games I am looking for, and there enlies my "problem"! I will check th FS/FT forums...Thanx for the suggestion.
