Hi ,

I bought a new PC to be used for music making .

My PC :

MSI 7058 (915 P combo) , PCI express with 3 PCI slots .
P4 530 LGA 775 Prescott CPU 3Ghz
PCI express graphi card - Gigabyte - NVIDIA PCX 5300
2 512Mb Samsung RAM
2 * 80G Maxtor Hard drives.
Samsung DVD RW
Pro soundcard - Creamware's LUNA II

My problems is that When ever I run my Audio Applications the PC freeze or it the goes blank ,
I have had it checked in the lab where I bought it and they replaced one memory and the DVD , but still this happens and no one knows what the problem is .

The same applications runs on my older computer fine !

I have run memtest and it seems O.k .
also disabled every thing I dont use in the BIOS (Com 1 , etc )

I am realy lost here

Make sure you have the latest drivers for your mobo chipset and the soundcard. Updating the vid driver wont hurt either. As a last resort, try flashing the BIOS if there a later verion.

Hi,

I have already done all this , including updating the BIOS.
It seems that this PC combination does not realy like my soundcard !
It realy works great on my older PC (P4 1.6 with intel 875 mother board )..

ny more Ideas ?
