PC for my Dad

So my dad's old PC was dying.... so he hit me up for a new one. This is what I threw together for him...

Athlon XP 2200
Asus A7N8X-X mobo
256 megs of Kingston PC3200 Value Ram
40 gig Seagate 7200.7 HD
Antec SLQ-BQE case w/ 350PSU
GeForce 4 MX
I used his old CD/DVD ROM
XP pro

total was $310.00

all he uses it for is light surfing and maybe watching some movies.

what did you use to loom the power cables?

I use spiral wrap...it's like a dollar and some change at Radio shack. I use that and also velcro wire ties on my gaming rigs.

yeah he really doesn't use it much at all. His old one was creeping up on 4 years old and he was hating to even turn it on. The CPU fan made this horrid shrill whine. You could hear it all over the house when he had it on.

This one is really quiet. First time I cut it on I had to put my ear near the back to make sure it was on! 😉
