Are there any PC fighting games out there? Games similar to Dead or Alive or Mortal Combat, or Street Fighter, ect. I think it would be neat to get 2 usb controllers and have games like that on the computer. I'll be going away to school in a semester and I have a nice 19" flat screen, so I could play games like that on it I think and I was just wondering if such games exist?
thanks,

if you remember way back in the early-mid 90's there was this wonderful fighter for the PC called One Must Fall 2097. It was this really neat robot fighting game. I believe there's a sequel being made for the PC, so look out for One Must Fall in the near future.

There are always those cheesy PSX ports of Street Fighter, Toshinden and Virtua Fighter. You can always find them in the bargain bins at Software Etc. or EB.

My best advice would be to get a good genesis or snes emulator, and see if you can find rom dumps of SF2 or MK. That's what I do, and it works pretty well. :)

oh yeah, good idea, forgot about that.

find MAME and some nice arcade ROMs, and get the real street fighter and mortal kombat!

Grabbing a CPS-2 Emulator and some Capcom roms is probably your best bet. It really doesn't get a whole lot better than arcade versions of X-Men vs Street Fighter, etc. :D
