Steps Tried
• Ram Stick #1 – Slot 1 – Error Code 38 for several seconds to minutes then -> Restart
• Ram Stick #1 – Slot 4 – Error code 53 for several seconds -> Restart
• Ram Stick #1 – Slots 2 & 4 – Error Code F2, immediate restart loop to F2, restart, repeat.
• Ram Stick #2 – Slots 1 – 4 – Error Code F2, immediate restart loop to F2, restart, repeat.
• Ram Stick #1 & #2 – Slot 2 & 4 - Error Code F2, immediate restart loop to F2, restart, repeat.

Started ‘MemOk!’ – Goes through various memory parameters, continuous F2 restarts. Supposed to stop at some point with Dram light on fully (showing it tested all possible memory compatibility settings) but it keeps restarting. Dram light does remain on.

Ideas?

Here’s a post that seems to mimic the problem. Guy ended up RMA’ing the board & the replacement works. This was from a bios flash though and not a new build. http://vip.asus.com/forum/view.aspx...board_id=1&model=P8P67 DELUXE&page=1&count=42

Questions

- Should I try to RMA the ram & try something different? The ram I got seems to be compatible with the mobo. It's the same codes with it clocked just a little bit higher (12800 vs 10600).

- Take out the mobo battery for a day to reset bios?

- RMA the mobo?

Thanks for the help!!

First, take the motherboard out of the case, reset the bios, try to boot with just the video card and 1 stick of ram.
