PC-DVD to TV

I liketo play DVD videos using my PC and view them through my TV.
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to do this without blanking out my monitor when I chose TV in the device selection.

Get TVtool.. On a Gf3 you will be limited to the same refresh rate and resolutions though. You can get a Geforce 4 and use vga to component or s-video and use both at the same time for different purposes.
 
Try turning down your desktop resolution to either 800x600 or 640x480 @ 65Hz, and then enabling the TV output.
