PC dies and won't start....

I dug up my old AMD64 setup for my brother the other day and it was working just fine until last night. For some reason the usb ports malfunctioned and all connected devices stopped working. So today I plug in some old PS/2 input devices and got the thing up and running through usb, but suddenly as I was connecting to the internet the PC dies and turned off automatically without warning. When I hit the power button the power led turned on and some fans were running but nothing came on the screen. Now it won't do anything... its completely non responsive. No lights, no fans, nothing. I reset the BIOS disconnected non-critical devices from the power supply but still nothing.... anyone have any suggestions?

Then it's the power supply or the motherboard. If you know how to reset a BIOS, then I doubt you need further instructions on where to go from here. 🙂

installing a new mobo.... what a bitch. Oh well at least I get to dispose of the old one as I see fit **buys lighter fluid and matches**
