Ok, so I'm gonna build my Gaming PC soon but my current desk SUCKS. I'm a pretty muscular guy and I need a desk to be HIGH enough off the floor that my legs can fit under the keyboard tray when it is pulled out.

My current desk is sitting on some 2x4's and I moved the tray up higher in the unit...LOL!

Seems like most desks are 30" H, I need one taller, know any good places to buy such a desk?

Thanks!

Ikea has the option for you to "build a table" (at least around here). You choose the top and pick up legs. It's the option I went for as it was cheap, simple and looks nice.

However, that would be without a keyboard tray. I hate those things anyway.

Could be worth a look. Of course they'll have options with keyboard trays as well. I'm not sure how they compare to the Office Depots of the world, though.

only problem with mine is that it's about the size of my dining room table and could seat 8 ;)

see if you can find a store that has one so you can see how it looks put together. i see the height of 36-1/4" that might be including that little stand on the top where the monitor is sitting. ;)

Yeah, that is where they GET YA!

Nothing like $1,800 for a chair and desk eh? That is $300 over his PC mate.

I know but I have had a few cheap desks before this one. They all break down fairly fast. This one is solid as hell. Any way good luck finding a desk, it took me years to get one I liked lol.

My wife has the Ikea Fredrik computer workstation. The desk surface height is adjustable in 4" increments. Heck, you can adjust it so high that you can stand at it.

Doesn't come with a keyboard drawer, though. It is also available in a smaller size.
