PC Decrapifier - Still useful?

A buddy asked me to de-crapify his new lenovo Win 8 laptop.

I typically just do fresh installs of OSs I have disks and keys for but I don't have Win8 media.

What's my best bet? Is PC Decrapifier still decent?
 
Yup, if you can't fresh install then PCD is the next best thing. And make sure to also use Soluto to get every last piece of performance robbing crap.
