I see you don't always game, but when you do, what games do you play?

i need a processor, ram, mobo, cabinet and mobitor
Does that mean you have a power supply? Drives? An OS? (Windows or Linux?) Edit: Keyboard? Mouse?

Would you go for a laptop (without a useful OS)?

Well, that seems to be a really low budget. This is about the best I could do without badly compromising quality on something:

Monitor: *BenQ GW2255 21.5" 60Hz Monitor (₹7500.00 @ Amazon India)

Yeah...that was actually the first thing I tried. It goes farther over budget, and the graphics aren't as good. (Although they're working OK for me.) But any other Intel option (Pentium G4400, or i3 4130) that might fit your budget has worse graphics still.

For average use you shouldn't notice much difference between the Intel and AMD processors. For gaming the AMD A8 should be better.

Well, I had a link there, but I got the price down a bit more. Now you only have to stretch your budget Rs. 4116. Also, you could delay purchasing the second stick of RAM.
