PC config for Web design

Wife has applied for a web design course involving CorelDraw, Illustrator and Photoshop and needs a suitable pc for work. I suggested the following config:
I7 2600 + a suitable motherboard
500gb SSD
Geforce GTX 680(which I'm assuming is overkill, but it's my old card)
8GB ram (should I upgrade it to 16?)
a decent 24" monitor.

Is this good enough? Or do I need to get a recent processor and mobo?

Yeah, I feel same Larry. I just bought a pair of these Dell Mini Towers (no keyboard or mouse) but complete otherwise, for $80 ea. Loaded one with Win7 Pro & updates, then cloned that drive to the other unit, changed Windows key, and let it update to Windows 10 overnight. No point in building for people anymore, but they still need an expert config 😉
