PC Compatability w/ Apple Cinema HD flat Monitor

I was wondering if those Apple flat monitor DVI connecters work with PC video cards of the same connecters and if they are compatable with windows. Also if it does work, does it require anymore parts other than the monitor and the video card with DV-I out?

would it be easy to find? onthe site, if you click select on one of the monitors, it'll show a list of accessories, could one of them be it?

The adapter is pretty expensive. I think it's like $100 just for the adapter.

thats nothing compared to the price of the display. dvi cables can cost that much too

You can alternatively get the Sony widescreen display of the same size. It's DVI without an adaptor straight away, and uses the same panel.

Also note that the smaller of the CinemaDisplays uses the rather odd resolution of 1680x1050. NVidia drivers 50 and up support that; I haven't heard any positive or negative from people with other brands of graphics chips.
