PC cluster

has anyone every run any distributing clients on a pc cluster or know of anyone that did ?
what client and what where the results ?

If you are talking about something like a beowulf cluster, UK (Univ of KY) did RC5 for a while on KLAT 2. I ma not sure if they still have the results. I will look and edit my post if I find them. I tried to get them to crack for Team Anandtech at one point but nothing came of it.

Performance


They didn't let it run for long on RC5, but it was pretty respectable when it did. KLAT2 handles over 150M RC5 keys/s for "one" machine. (one is a loosely used term here)
