I'm looking to upgrade my system at an affordable cost. I play alot of games and I'm on a tight budget. I saw some systems that were fairly cheap with the PC CHIPS M848LU motherboard. Is it any good? I cant find any reviews on it.

You won't find much. Give your budget and some of us may be able to find better within that budget.

It's brandnew, noone has seen it. So Cerb's claim of "finding something better" is just plain BS.

848LU basically is the same design as the 847 aka ECS K7S7AG, but with AGP slot and more PCI slots instead of onboard Xabre 200 graphics.
The latter board has been tested to have good performance and stability, e.g. at ocworkbench.

Maybe, maybe not. With anything that new from PC Chips, you won't find much unless its counterpart gets some renown.

Oh? I know the L7S7A2 has been, but the K7S7AG?
And in that case, would not the ECS version (which I would go for over the generic version--odd calling ECS not generic :)) be at least as good, esp. when the K7S7AG is only $84, and the L7S7A2 $54 (+$3).
