hi, i just got this board yesterday,
and i tried o/c'ing with my duron 700.
i donno if i had to unlock it with the pencil trick,
but i did it anyhow.

i'm sad to report that the bios only lets me do fsb of 100 or 133.
with virtually every other o/c setting locked and unconfigurable.

so i'm stuck with either 100x7@700 or, 133x7@931.
at 931, it posts but does not complete the load up process with windows 2k.

i'm thinking that it probably has to do with my voltage setting at 1.6v.
i'm assuming that this needs to change in order for any chance of o/cing

i checked with both www.pcchips.com and www.pcchips.com.tw
to see if they had a newer bios, but it does not.

does anyone know how i can raise up the voltage setting, manually? or is it controlled at the bios?

thanks a bunch for any help

i crossed all the L7 bridges to raise the v-core to 1.85v. and now it runs perfectly at 7x133@931.

Guys, this is not the typical 'Overclockers' board. It is meant as a cheap, integrated solution. PC-Chips has had problems with MB's in the past, but they have increased their quality lately. I personally have friends that have a combine 3 810LMR's and they work flawlessly. I read a review on one and they ran Win2000 Server for a week straight without having to reboot.

i understand that this board was not meant for a serious o/c'er...
but doing 931@7x133 with duron 700 ain't bad at all even by that standard.

being able to raise fsb from 100 to 133, successfully... and stably... is not ground breaking... but nevertheless... is a big achievement.

so far, i'm very happy with this mobo. compact and very well integrated... with an optional agp port... i really can't complain.
