Well the thing is that I might have told you the wrong case. My case only has USB 2.0 headers 4 of them. There is 2 plugs one for each set of two headers.

Then what case DO you have?

I don't know how anyone could mistake the HAF X for something else...It's in a class by itself.

From everything I've read, your motherboard has two USB connectors...one for USB 2.0, one for USB 3.0. Each is designed to serve two front panel ports.

Yup it does my motherboard it is. The USB 3.0 work fine. The USB 2.0 do not work. So that is why I thought there could be two problems. Either there is a problem with the case, or a problem with the motherboard. I have tested the case, by getting a new top panel with the USB and it did not work. I believe the problem stems with the motherboard due to that. If there is an actual problem, is there a way rerout the header to come from the actual USB on the back using something like this:

Since that adapter would connect to the same on-board connector that your front panel connectors do...I'm not sure what you'd want that for...

IF the problem is with the motherboard, why wouldn't you want to replace it if MSI is willing to do that for you?

It's about a 30 minute job...and less headache than any other possible solution.

Okay. What I did was put another motherboard into my case all the front usbs worked just fine. So I am highly confident that the 4x2 header on the motherboard has malfunctioned. Is there any way to convert an USB on the back of the motherboard to a 4x2 header male so I can get these usb headers to work. Thanks.

See my post #24.

Cool Ill get 2 of them. There are 4 pins on it. The problem is the header only has: 4 pins first row, 3 pins second row. Is the black color a group or something. Cool I think I can solve this.

That's basically the same case I have. I have the "original" HAF 932.

All four USB 2.0 ports on the front panel connect to the same connector on the motherboard.
That SHOULD be the case with yours as well, plus, you have the addition of USB 3.0 on your front panel.
