PC Card/PCMCIA to ExpressCard Solution

First, I have not tested it. And I did search this morning with no joy (in case of repostage).

DuelAdapter

The vendor claims it works with many PC Cards and I see chatter about it on the net.

history - My sister bought a new notebook. She has a $500NZ PC Card for wireless internet connections and it would cost the same to get a new one in ExpressCard format.

An interesting concept, and it could be very useful. Part of the problem is that there are few wireless connection cards available in Express format. And there are two sizes of Express format, 54 and 34. 34 cards will fit in a 54 slot - so that has to be what the adapter uses.

Anyway, I see Lenovo has a better solution in their noew notebooks - they have a PCMCIA Cardbus slot and they provide an Express adapter that fits in that slot.
