PC Card not recognized

I have a Latitude 600m that comes with an integrated wireless network card. I am trying to use a verizon broadband access pc card, but when I run its software, it just doesnt detect the pc card.

I tried disabling the integrated wireless card, but it just doesnt work.

So far, I see under network adapters: - Broadcom 570x gigabit integrated controller and - the intergrated PRO/wireless LAN 2100

Under PCMCIA there are O2 micro Smart Cardbus controller and a genetic cardbus.

Did you get a software + driver CD with the card? Read the PDF manual on the CD to see if (for example) you need to install the software first, then put in the card.

Yes I did. I also found out that the driver is "NEC PCI to USB Open Host Controller" So, Im looking online to see if I can download it.

DO you think thats a good idea?
