PC Building Issue

hello guys. I have a problem with my config.so i built this pc yesterday.
PSU-thermaltake1200W MOB-asrock p45 x3 deluxe GPU-Saphire5850 CPU-Q6600 RAM-OCZ
Platinium2*2GB DDR31600 HD-WD640GB64MB and zalman reserator water-cooling system installed on cpu. everything is brand new expect the cpu but i heard it's could be faster and stable by overclocked ,it never was overclocked before in my other pc.well the Bios recognizes all the hardwares but when i try to install the win 7 home edition after the 1st loading i get this message : windows couldn't load because kernel file is missing or corrupt. after i replaced the HD for a formated 1 what already has win 7 but after some second of loading of windows i get blue death. I tryed to underclock the memory speed and i changed the mem. voltage also . i didn't change the cpu speed and the voltage of it either. i left it on basic speed (2400mhz) and lowest voltage. i took over the whole system including cpu block just making sure every stuff in the correct place. after the result was the same. i thought i need to upgrade the Bios or the MOB doesn't want to accept the memory ? i would appreciate any helping or ideas what can help. thanx in advance.

Try booting on 1 stick of RAM, if it BSOD, try the other. Run a memtest on each stick if you don't get BSOD.

In my recent build, I had OCZ memory and 1 of my sticks was bad, caused Win 7 to crash.

If that doesn't help, repeat the process but using your other memory slots.

I tried to boot with 1 stick of Ram too I tried both sticks 1 by 1 and after I changed the slots also . it didn't help either. But i still didn't try the memtest. maybe that will help.

The memtest will just help verify bad ram, but it's unlikely that both sticks are bad. Possible, but not likely.

I'm assuming the HD that already had Win 7 loaded was tested on another system so you know it's good?

Memory is my first guess, but it's starting to sound like a motherboard problem.
-Update your BIOS
-Boot with no cards plugged in (take out graphics card and any PCI devices)
-Try turning off all of the motherboard features, everything. Ethernet. Any memory features. Any power saving features. Turn it all off and see if it's stable.

well i don't think so either both sticks could be bad.
the 2nd HDD which already had Windows 7 installed actually shouldn't boot on this computer except the one it was installed on . so that might caused blue death. i will update the bios and i will try to run as u suggested. and i will change the dvd too if it's necessary. thank u I hope it will help 🙂

Thank U Reincus for helping 🙂 I updated the Bios and the problem got solved.
i could install the windows and the whole system is working. the reserator is really quiet, so far I have a block on the cpu but I plane to buy another block for the gpu.

the basic temperature of the cpu is 28 C and during prime95 it stopped after 20 mins at 38C . what is fair enough but it's still too early to say any opinion about it.
well the house is looks awesome and it's huge also. (silverstone raven rv01) although i got some small issues with this case too so far i am happy with it. (4example the front door sometimes gets blocked, means doesn't come up properly, well it's really little problem anyway annoying)
so the point is would be the overclocking. thats why i bought this MB and I believe I still can get a strong performance from this cpu what I use alredy for almost 2 years. I am curious what could it give for me by overclocked. The previous MB didn't support OC.
but first off all the current FSB is 266 what means the memory speed is 1066 mhz. and the cpu speed is 2.4 ghz. I overclocked the fsb till 300 and i got blue death what is quite interesting because even this way the memory is still underclocked . but i don't know what dram voltage settings would be the best. i know the best way is step by step. well I'll carry on tomorrow and I am gratefull any usefull helping
