I am new to upgrading stuff and want to install a new mobo+cpu

http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/products/6vx7b_4x.htm

I have a 1gig 100mhz bus fc-pga celeron and was wondering if the earliest BIOS supports it cos I dont know what BIOS this mobo has and if my cpu is unsupported I guess the PC will be dead and I cant flash the BIOS .
Here are the BIOS lists http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/support/via694x_old.htm#link6vx74x

Also does my cpu have a 10X multiplier? I need to know for the dip switch settings.

This mobo is ata100 and my HD is ata66 (im gettin a new one),do i just plug it in to the new mobo and away it goes like now or is it incompatible?Do I need adapters? Do I need to reinstall thru a disk or something? Same goes for agp card and modem.

1- the mb bios is backward compatable. if the mb supported the chip originally(looks like it does) it still should.
2- 1000mhz(1gig) = 100mhz fsbx10 multiplyer
3- the ATA spec is also backward compatible. it will be just fine with an ATA66 drive.
4- all the other cards should be fine too.(that mb even has an ISA slot)
5- THE BAD NEWS you really should do a fresh install of your opperating system (windows ?)
good luck
