PC Boot problem

After my pc has been off for the night and I go to turn it on in the morning it won't boot. I go through post succesfully and the windows loaded screen pops up and starts to load windows then the monitor goes blank. I find that when I go into the bios and load basic defaults my computer will boot every single time. This is my temporary fix because of the 20 times I've experienced this probelm changing the default in the bios will always make the computer boot. So I guess its its new mobo time?

If the BIOS can't remember the setting, then check the battery....
at least pull it out and reseat it......or even spend $2.00 for a new one..
its somewhat of a longshot, but who knows ???
Unless of course, you want a new mobo.....good luck

Yeah I just replaced the battery a day ago and it still didnt work. Im guessing somehow the bios chip on my motherboard got screwed up. I'v tried flashing them to a newer version and still run into the same problem. Luckily its under warranty but I probably won't bother with leadtek.
