Building a new system, have two different Pc Chips motherboards (825, 810). Sempron 2300+ based.
System will power on, but no video, no initial beeps. PCI diag. card shows dF. Tried both boards, two different power supplies which show good on ATX tester. One board has on-board video the other I tried a base 5200 AGP. Same result.
Only have one CPU, which seems fine. Only have DDR400 memory.
Anyone have experience with these boards? These are my first experience with these boards, and so far my initial thoughts are:
1. Bad CPU. It appears to be fine, core is good, etc.
2. Two bad boards.
3. Most boards usually show video even with no memory installed. I only had DDR400 RAM to try, perhaps these need DDR266/333 RAM to even boot?
Any ideas with these lovely "expensive" boards?
