I got a Dell Dimension 8400 and yesterday I got some new ram and I thought I would install it myself as I have installed ram on my old machine before without any problems.
Well... after installing the ram I turned my PC on and cd-rom lights flash few times, pc speaker beeps few times, no signal is sent to the monitor, and fans start getting louder and louder. When I hold the power button for about 5 seconds, PC turns off but then it turns itself back on right away. I have to turn it off about 5 times before it will stop turning itself back on.
By the way, my case is really dusty, do you guys think that dust has anything to do with is or did I maybe stress something out when I opened the case?
