PC anywhere questions

i want to be able to log on to my step moms computer from across the network....n is pc anywhere like ms messenger remote assistant?

can i take control with out being invited?

You need to have pcAnywhere run as a service. You can configure it to startup when the computer boots. If you want to do it on-demand, you can do that as well. Launch the app, go to hosts, and 2X click on Network icon. This will start the service for an on-demand service.

so once i install in on her machine, i can remote it without her?

can i see the desktop

If you have it running as a service and she has the PC on, you should be able to log in, even if she is not there.
