PC 2700 memory, worth upgrade?

I upgraded one of my machines with a motherboard that supports PC2700. The old one had 512MB PC2100.
My question is: Is it worth the bucks to buy 512MB PC2700?
My primary activity is using Adobe 7, will I even notice a difference? Thanks.

What mobo do you have? Will you be upgrading in the near future(3-6 months?) You might be able to get the ram to run at specs, however you may have to tweak your bios a bit...fsb and timings. Sometimes faster ram can cause a performance hit. Do a search on your mobo and see what others have installed in it and what was involved to get the best performance out of it.🙂

Hi ArborBarber, thanks for the reply. The MoBo I upgraded to is an Intel D845PEBT2 with a Pentium 4 2.53 processor.
The old was a Gigabyte GA-7VTXE (AMD CPU).
