PBS refuses to air documentary on Moderate Muslims

Lovely, I guess only PBS approved people are allowed on PBS now... in other words, if your political leanings aren't the same as PBS executives your view has no place?

Oh the irony.

You of all people should know "you're either with us or against us" approach.

"Stay the course" PBS "Stay the course"

So you don't actually disagree with him, but you'll still find a way to attack him? Who's stuck in the "you're either with us or against us" mindset again?

This is actually pretty big news to me. I'd like to see more information about the moderate Muslims out there. Being raised in a Muslim family, I know that most people are pretty down to earth and simple about religion. It's the minority who like to yell who get heard. Besides, they get ratings. People preaching peace and calm don't get ratings.

These two mens influence in the film is why they decided not to show it

Frank Gaffney, president of the Center for Security Policy, and Gaffney's CSP colleague Alex Alexiev, who specializes in Islamic extremism

Lookup more info on them if you want to know why??

The article quotes the PBS representative as saying the program didn't make the cut for the current PBS schedule. That implies there is limited air time and that not every program is accepted.

Does the OP think that programs are rejected solely for political reasons? Can the OP not conceive of totally benign reasons why a program might be rejected?
