Joy. Trump threatening other people for not being respectful while he respects no one.

No one owes Trump respect. He's not the Office, he's not "The President", he's in our house not his, yet he appears to think that we belong to him.

Here Trump attacks Acosta with more lies, talks about respect and other reporters in the most insulting ways, attacks Michelle and Obama and on and on.

Mad King Trump.

It is pretty hilarious that he's claiming you need to treat the White House with respect when he spends his time tweeting childish insults about porn stars he cheated on his wife with from it.

And remember, his entire complaint is based on a lie about what Acosta did.

Trump himself said it was probably true!!!

That sure sounds like hard evidence to me.
Although I agree, the guy probably doesn't remember what he had for breakfast. There are probably countless examples of his racism, so I would hate to have to stretch to make this one of them. It just gives the deplorables a data point to refute without much effort.

He is a tacit piece of shit. And an idiot.

I genuinely don't understand why it's a stretch to mention an account from one of his close former associates that Trump himself confirmed on the record.

It's in print, you can go read it right now if you want to.

Using Altered media to fit a narrative, revoking press credentials of critics, and using the power of the state to attempt to swing an election in your favor: all things that happened this week in the United States of America.

It is funny how Trump loses his shit when not surrounded by yes men. This President thinks he has the right to ban the press, it is a flagrant abuse of power. He should be called out harshly every time he has a toddler tantrum about it. This Keystone Cops administration seems to outdo its own incompetence daily.

Trump represents a clear case of "enemy domestic", but we who follow the principles in the rule of law are bound to let this play out. I will allow Dems to formulate and act, but woe to them that pull the "reconciliation" card and do not pursue Trump by any and all lawful means and I don't mean Maxine Waters yelling daily. Legal and utterly ruthless tempered with cold intellect. Fail that and I will oppose those Dems come the next cycle in the primaries.

Yeah I'm pissed :D

You don't like the undermining of the foundational systems that have held the country together? You are a strange one sir.

Take care though. If you take that and go too far and point out that BOTH SIDES have done things to hurt our future, you will be burned at the alter of beliefs.

Some have attempted that however, I don't bring things up gratuitously, or try not to. If I say something it has an intended point. If George(R) shoots Jane(D) and someone says "Look at what R's do" but then Jill(D) shoots Jack(R) for the same reasons, then I may go back and remind people who are (D) about what was said to remind them that they are not qualified to judge.

However

In the real world few acts are equivalent. In the case of political terroristic acts, there isn't a valid comparison. I hear about something which I consider wrong, the vandalism of a home and threatening someone and their wife, in this case Carlson and we have that thrown up in an obvious attempt to create an equivalence with bombs or dead Jews by a right wing nationalist.

Nope. Even in the terrible and absolutely wrong case of a left-leaning shooter resulting in tragedy at a ball field, there is still no "both sides" He did wrong and should face the same penalties as anyone else, but who can he cite in leadership in defense of his actions? No one. But I can certainly present examples of Trump supporters who follow him and do his biddings in attacking "enemies of the people", the damning words spoken.

But I am "both sides" When I was a right-wing corporate shill when I was against something Obama I didn't care. Doubly so now that I have to live through Trump.

IMO "both sides" can be valid, but one must have something substantial to back it up and be relevant.

The whole thing about the left claiming he was pushing some kind of white power agenda by saying he was a "nationalist" is just another example of how the left are the true racists today, how they create racism where there is none to help keep the victim complex alive and ultimately keep more minorities on the Democrat plantation.

The left tries to craft general terms so it is easier to create the linkage of unrelated things. She, the PBS reporter, was trying to state the connection of a "Nationalist" to a "White Nationalist" which is then connected to a "White Supremacist". Which then would be the transitive property of equality. A=B=C and therefore a Nationalist is a White Supremacist.

The connotation of Nationalist has long gone past "favoring my nation" Anyone of somewhat below average intelligence should know that, expecially as "that guy" explicitly refuses to condenm "White Supremacists", but mitigate it by saying "both sides are to blame and both sides have some nice people".

It was a perfectly rational and intelligent question and point, and that was the problem. Trump is completely out of touch with reality unless it strokes his ego.

But Mr. "This is my house", is fundamentally unable to understand the very basics, and therefore unfit to hold Office. The position requires a basic intelligence and rationality that he not only lacks but can't even understand that he might be wrong. He's never wrong.

Not important? Find a doctor that's never wrong, never made a mistake and will yell at you if you question anything. When you need surgery, you pick that man and have arrangements made to let us know how that went and where to send flowers, because you are in a hell of a lot of trouble- just like this nation.

". “Really, we’re not supposed to use that word,” he told supporters in a nod to the usual political sensibilities that he relishes disrupting. “You know what I am? I’m a nationalist, O.K.? I’m a nationalist. Nationalist! Use that word! Use that word"

There it is, quote of the manchild himself, Trump knew the word was a fucking no-no ... but knowing who and what his base is? - Yea even brandondull can do that math.

Her words are in the OP.
“On the campaign trail, you called yourself a nationalist,” -- Thats undeniably true.
“Some people saw that as emboldening white nationalists." -- Thats also true.
White nationalists are emboldened recently and the majority of them seem to be Trump supporters (I'm not saying the the majority of Trump supporters are white nationalists, just that the majority of white nationalists are Trump supporters). For her to link Trumps word and his support from the far right seems reasonable. He was at a press conference, the whole point of it is to get him to comment on and clarify things

I’m sure he does, he pretty much eats the same thing every day, I know he does vary a bit but seems like his food list is very small

That's pretzel logic. She tried to give Trump the opportunity to differentiate his brand of nationalism from white nationalism. He refused & attacked her instead.

Do not underestimate Trump. His intelligence lies in the realm of being able to con the gullible, which he does brilliantly.

No con artiste actually makes sense. They just convince the marks that they do.

It was obvious to any sane person that Trump was stating that he is putting America first, not the world. His decision making is to the effect of doing what is good for America first and foremost. However, if one suffers from Trump Derangement Syndrome you might think he was pushing some kind of white power narrative there.

If only there was another word that described what he meant without the inherent meaning of the term nationalist. If only....

Sanity being defined by those who are fine or play apologist for one who wants to redefine the actual constitution by EO of course.

You support the side so fundamentally dishonest that it doctored a video in order to find an excuse to ban a reporter. Your arguments are permanently invalid.

I might understand what the new anti-pc fat is all about. Trump could say I hate blacks and they should be shot. That translates into the president has said that he is dismayed by the state that many African Americans live in and were completely supportive of them

Warning voice typing in progress. Now I think I understand why people are so involves with a new pc movement or anti-pc I suppose if Trump were to say I hate blacks and I want to shoot them, people would interpret that as a 03 means that he's sympathetic with African-Americans and wants to help them stop crime in the Inner City.
