In early August I went to court for a speeding ticket and was granted a PBJ by the judge (in 15 years of driving it was my first speeding ticket). This weekend I was in NC and the cop says I was doing 16 miles over the limit when I swear I was only doing 6 miles over the limit. So I have to go back to NC for that ticket, which from my research will not result in points in Maryland, but will be on my driving record. Will the NC ticket put me in violation of my PBJ?

I'm gonna say yes, but that isn't an area of law I've much looked at. It's fairly non serious, and fairly abstracted, so there's a lot of places to get "lost" in the system. You may not hear anything about it.

I'm in maryland and I too thought this was about PB&J.

But there you go when you mean PB&J you say PB&J not PBJ?

So you have to do volunteer work before you even see a judge? WTF!
It means you aren't judged for a period of time. Make it through that period, and it's like it never happened. Get in trouble(a ticket(and conviction) in this case), you get convicted of the first as well as the second offense.
