PB gives me this message in BF2, then kicks me out of the server

i went to punkbuster's main site and updated all my software, but to no prevail.. im gonna re-install tomorrow morning.... but if anyone can help me solve it without re-installing, it would be greatly appreciated...

the server has an earlier version of pb most likey.

I read somewhere it had to do with the update. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

I think the latest patch updated the PB client but because of a memory leak in the server patch, most servers reverted back to the 1.00 build and so are using an older PB. A reinstall should fix it, just don't patch the game, they are working on a fix for the 1.01 patch and until then they don't want people using 1.01.

i forgot to mention, this happened AFTER i re-installed the game, and DIDNT dl the patch.. should i re-install again?

i think i may have fixed it.... joined a couple of servers today and didnt get that message.... when i uninstalled the game, choose the option where it says "delete server config".... then re-install the game...
