paypal

I been with paypal for a few years now and have had zero problems. Got a question how does the chargeback work? If I sell someone something and they get it, can they just snatch there money back from me by doing so? Will paypal just take it out of my account? Or will they only do that if I don't show proof that I shipped the package?

You need to ship to a confirmed address for seller protection, you probably want to use delivery confirmation if it's a high dollar value item too

yea, but the dispute is easy to file. The person who recieved only needs to show proof that they shipped it back to get a refund. You could ship the seller back a brick in a box and paypal would give you back your money.

It really sucks. I understand needing to protect everyone, but it is totaly biased to the buyer instead of being something in the middle.

Also, if they do a dispute, normally a tracking number will stop that, but if they file a chargeback with their CC issuer, then your screwed..

Oh I don't ship without getting DC#. Main reason I ask is because I am selling something on the forums. This guy AIM's me saying he can't register because gmail accounts ain't allowed. Although he should have a ISP email he might not use it as I don't use mine 😀. Anyway I was a little iffy on selling it to him, but since he is paypal verified and has confirmed addy I guess it's no big deal. I just wanted to make sure because I would hate to send him the item and him just be able to get a refund easily.

He did have a few ebay feedback though which all was good.

BTW he used instant funds. I ain't able to accept CC funds with my account.
