I just want to pay people, but I may want to get funds also. The way I read, the personal account is limited on incoming credit card trans, but other wise it seems fine??

Stay away from paypal.

They magically promoted my account from personal to prime (that means 3% cut) w/o telling me.

If you have to use paypal, make sure you understand the seller protection policy, and stay under it in all transaction.

Is it mediocre to be a big fish in a small pond? Egay and paypal wouldn't think so. See how much they make in return of lousy service.

Hi Peetoeng,

Upgrading an account requires an action from the web site and there is a possibility that the account was upgraded by mistake. I can have your account downgraded if you contact me at damon@paypal.com with your email address on the account, but the downgrade is allowed to happen only once.

Hi Briddle,

Personal accounts are limited to 100.00 per month in credit card funding. This limit is not impacted by wholly funded bank account payments (echeck) or PayPal balance payments. Business/Premier accounts do not have a credit card limit on them because they are paying fees.

If someone sends me an echeck, how do I receive that money without being registered? Do I have to be registered to receive that money in my hands? Also, can I register by putting in my credit card instead of making a new checking account? Paypal is absolutely free right? Thanks for your help.
