I'm trying to use a PayPal virtual debit card to buy a few 120mm case fans and I can't find the 3 digit verification code in the card info window. I've searched through PayPal's help section and didn't see anything that helped. Do they just not give verification codes or am I blind?

They don't give it to you, your best bet is to contact the company and ask them to process it without the cvv2 code. Dell did it for me once.

Pardon my French, but that's retarded. If they demand that any CC you use there has that code why can't they supply one? I'll just wait the 4 days to transfer to my bank account.

"Virtual" debit? you don't have an actual card?
It lets you use money in your PayPal account to buy stuff online. I have a regular debit card but I'd rather use the cash straight out of my PP account.

PayPal is great for something things and they suck for others. I just gave up and got the real card from them, works fine with everything now :)

why would you use this when credit cards let you generate virtual account numbers and give you 1% cash back?

agreed. There real card has comes in handy quite a bit, especially because I can empty my balance at an ATM and walkaway with a fistfull of dollars. Also makes paypal easier to work with because you can spend your balance anywhere online that accepts CC payments, not just stores that take paypal.

I just applied for the regular card, but it just seems stupid to require something that you don't offer for your own services...

EDIT: Nik, your link doesn't work, but I sent them an email anyway.
